Work Modifications

Pregnant and nursing postdoctoral researchers for whom it is medically necessary may request modification to their work if it involves travel/fieldwork or exposure to hazardous materials or procedures. Postdoctoral researchers should speak with their supervisor and the designated Dean’s Office contact for postdoctoral researchers to coordinate appropriate modifications. Supervisors and Deans’ Offices are expected to work together to provide a safe research environment. The designated Dean’s Office contact for postdoctoral researchers will inform postdoctoral researchers of additional obligations, including the need for documentation supporting the need for work modification.
